Acer TravelMate B117-M Missing ACPI Driver
I’ve reinstalled Windows 10, downloaded and installed all the drivers from Acers website but I have 1 missing driver, namely the ACPI 1025 (10251229) driver in Device Manager — help!

Hi,
Go to Acer support site, download and install Chipset driver version 10.1.1.13

I’ve installed the Chipset driver twice already — I’ve even right-clicked on the device in device manager and browsed my computer for the driver and told it to look in all the subfolders of all the drivers I’ve downloaded already from that page and nothing!

Hi,
You could try a battery reset, switch off the laptop, disconnect from mains, follow the instructions in the video, leave the laptop to rest for a while before starting again. Pinhole is next to HDD bay.

Ooh! I’ve never noticed that before — the pin hole for the battery reset will come in handy for other issues so thanks for that!
Unfortunately that hasnt resolved this issue as I just followed the instructions, re-installed the Chipset Drivers again but the Unknown Device is still showing up in Device Manager. I’ve got 10 of these laptops that I need to get ready but I cant give them out with a missing driver.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll give that a go but I’ve got 10 laptops all with the same missing driver so I wont be impressed if I have to do this on all of them as they’re literally a couple of days old.

Yes, I agree that it’s a pain it’s missing in all laptops, give Acer support centre a call, they might be able to come up with a solution.

That didnt work unfortunately. However, I am getting closer to finding a solution but still need a bit of help!
I just went through the 10 laptops and one was still as it was out of the box with Windows 10 S on, I used a digital key to upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro so I could run the DoubleDriver program on it. I backed up all of the drivers and then copied the folder with the drivers in to one of the other laptops and got it to search through the whole lot and voila! It found a driver it liked and installed it!
The fact it was called ACPI 1025 (10251229) in Device Manager may be a bit of a ‘red herring’, what it actually is, is the ‘Acer Airplane Mode Controller’ — so I now need to find the driver for this so I can get it installed on the other laptops.

Нужен драйвер тачпада для windows 8.1
В диспетчере устройств отображается как неизвестное устройство, ACPI\VEN_1025&DEV_1229
Так же, еще болтается PCI-устройство VEN_1022&DEV_15D1&SUBSYS_125C1025&REV00

Ноут мне достался без драйверов на видеокарты.

Попытался поставить драйвера с оф. сайтов Acer и AMD
После этого ноут не смог перезагрузиться.
Выходит окно «параметры восстановления запуска» , причем пишет:
» операционная система Windows 7 на (E:) Локальный диск «
(Хотя система стоит на( С:))
Смог войти только в безопасном режиме( в обычном смог загрузиться только когда отключил одну карту.
Как это можно вылечить?
Стоит ли обновить биос (Phoenix Technologies Ltd. V1.07, 24.06.2011)?

Это с «железом», видимо, проблемы. Без ремонтников не обойтись.

Добрый день
1) Acer Aspire v3-551
2) Windows 7
3) кнопка Fn
4) -не смог найти-
Суть проблемы, после переустановки win8 на win7 скачал все драйвера и приложения все установил все видит прекрасно, но не работает тачпад и кнопка fn и естественно все подгруппы f, сейчас хочу разлочить доп. функции в bios, но может есть менее бескровный путь?

Аккумулятор попробуйте передёрнуть.
Также можете установить LaunchManager, отсюда.

Не лаунч менеджер в автозагрузка работает все хорошо, я вижу точпад у него все драйвера на месте но вот триклятая fn отказывается работать.

При нажатии комбинации с Fn сообщения на дисплее появляются? Если нет, при установленном LM, то может надо клавиатуру заменить?

Нет никаких сообщений, мне кажется маловероятным гибель Fn после установки винды, сейчас думаю что в закрытых раздела биоса просто отключена эта функция, так как поставлялся ноут с win8 а жадный производитель специально закрыл доступ, что бы на 8 сидели либо с бубном бегали.

А биос у Вас сейчас 1.ХХ или 2.ХХ?
Если 2, то Ваша версия имеет право на существование, но надо бы проверить, установить Win 10. Если версия верна, то с ней Fn снова заработает.
