Token

A Token is an item that can be directly purchased with Tikits or through completing a quest (the only exception being the Partial and Total unlock tokens which cost Robux to obtain); or indirectly through Trade Realm. They are designed to perform some special action, usually on a creature. They may be accessed in the Tokens section of Main Menu.

Click the blue button on top of your stored creatures section that says “TOKENS”, then click on the model of the token you want to use. If it’s a token such as «Appearance change token», you may be requested to use it on a slot.

When using a Token and being asked to confirm its use, Tokens that target a slot will have the prompt end in «[. ] on Slot #x?», whereas Tokens that do not target a slot will not have a specific slot number mentioned, and will instead only ask if you want to use the token in general.

  Token Behavior

  Tokens have two attributes that affect their behavior, which are the Cancelable flag and the Targets a slot flag.

  Cancelable Tokens

  Cancelable Tokens are tokens that are not spent when you confirm you want to use them. Instead, they will often open another interface or menu, and be spent when an action is confirmed in the external menu. An example of this type is the Appearance Change Token, which opens the customizer when it’s used. Canceling the customizer will not spend the token, and it is only spent when you confirm your changes.

  Explorer and Gacha Mission Tokens

  These tokens are those which allow the player to spin a specific gacha. These were updated after January 27 th , 2023 to have a cap of 50. Unlike other tokens, Explorer Gacha tokens are found as physical items around the in-game world that must be touched to collect. Only one of these tokens can spawn at a time, with a new one having a chance to appear only when the last has been collected or has despawned after ten minutes.

  Event Tokens

  Those tokens are related with one specific limited-time Event or another, they may be collected from the map, or from specific event-side missions.

  List of Currently Available Tokens

  Unique to Explorer-type tokens, or tokens that spawn around the map in areas where herbivore food may also spawn, these tokens among the Explorer-type tokens (also known as «capsules») all have an equal 100% chance of spawning at any given time.

  Please notice that tokens highlighted in tan are recode-only, while tokens in lime, are recode-only. Tokens may have more than 1 image if the legacy and recode forms differ. In that case the legacy image comes first, and the recode one second.

  ERR_NULL_TOKEN

  

  This token is a placeholder item that represents no token. It is used to compensate for errors in testing. It is akin to Air in Minecraft, which is a valid block and item, but it cannot be held by the player or used in any way with the exception of placing it via commands.

  This does have a description in game because the data structure requires that it exists, which states: «You must be Phineas or Ferb because you’ve just discovered something that doesn’t exist.»

  Trivia

  • The game previously had a Mutation Explorer Token and Gacha, which was later replaced with the Mecha Explorer Token and Gacha pairing with similar characteristics but different themes.
  • The ERR_NULL_TOKEN item did not exist until the second Token content drop, as the system did not need it to work.
  • Growth tokens cannot be used if the creature’s age is already set to max.
  • There was an exploit in the Random Gacha Spin Token that allowed users to rejoin and get free re-rolls by abusing the fact that the token was Cancelable (they would simply not pick a reward and rejoin if they didn’t like the results, which meant the token wouldn’t be spent). This exploit has been patched (except when you do this before an update and try again after it) via tracking the randomizer’s iteration per-player, and so the results will always be the same until you pick the reward, then they are refreshed.
    • As a cost, players with incredibly high iteration numbers (over 25,000 uses of this token) may experience a brief lagspike when using one of these tokens for the first time after joining a server.
    • At the time, Cottol had the DeveloperOnly tag. If normal players attempted to use it, it would softlock their game and require them to rejoin because the server would reject their attempt to spawn in, leaving them in limbo.

    1. ↑ Technically, x50 Christmas Present Tokens can also be obtained by purchasing the gift bundle.
    2. ↑ Galaxy Exploration Tokens are intended to spawn during the night exclusively, but due to a bug, they can appear at any time.
    3. ↑ Photovore Exploration Tokens are intended to spawn during the day exclusively during Summer, Spring, and Cherry Blossom (Sakura) seasons, but due to a bug, they can appear at any time.
    4. ↑ Technically, x25 Trick or Treat Tokens can also be obtained by purchasing the master trick or treater bundle, you just can’t purchase more than that.

    Как использовать session gacha token

    

    It says you can select 1 of 3 specs, but when i clicked on it, it brought me to the gacha, and since i spun session gacha many times before, ik that it doesn’t let u pick, unlike random gacha spin token.

    that’s just how the tokens work. A random gacha token lets you choose between three creatures, a session token only unlocks the session gacha for you, you’ll still have to pay mush without knowing what creature you’ll get

    Earlier, when session tokens didn’t exist, you had to do missions to unlock the session gacha, now that’s what the session tokens do
